I hear ya, but the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the books let the public feel all warm and fuzzy after Tulsa and LSU covered. The 2 televised games with all the public money on the favs saw both of them cash. Just don't see lightning striking twice.

Almost all the big public favorites hit last night. Wouldn't judge a play by that. Utah was looking good until their qb went out with an injury. Now, they can't do anything but that's the way it works.

I agree with Marino... This is the best Temple team they have ever had... They were young the last two years and they have about every1 bk... They should be much tougher this year after playing all freshmen and soph last year... I lean to Temple but will wait and hope it gets to 23 or 24... GL Lickie..

I stopped by and got autographs from the Temple team about a month ago in Ocean City NJ. One of the players said, " make sure you turn on ESPN Sept. 1st."

Someone asked why is that. He answered because they are going to be talking about one of the biggest upsets of the year. I just laughed and thought the only reason I'm stopping here is to have autographs in case they are one of the worst teams ever lol.

Hog Best Temple team ever? Come on now... My old man is a temple alum so I have had Chaney pushed down my throat all of my life. that said, Ole Bruce Arians had them roling in 86 with Paul Palmer, before he got to the NFL and followed through on threats to fumble the ball and did it in a game... They may of cheated then but they were pretty damn good. I really think golden has them going in the right direction. They will win 4-5 this year if you ask me. I think this line is about right. Iwould love to join on but I might just sit back and watch..

People saying Temple will be better reminds me of people that say Missisissippi State will be much improved every year and every year they come out and get blown away in their season opener. I'm sure people will come back next year and say how improved Miss. State will be. Another thing I have never understood is people that talk about bad teams returning starters. The only problem is that they are the same sorry starters that they have been losing with. Bad players don't just get better because they get more experienced.

Navy expects to be in the top 25 by mid season, Temple will go from 119 to 121. Looks real good, but I am waiting to see how this game is going. I am hoping for a tight game til half and then maybe get Navy -7 to 10 for the game. We'll see what happens. GL TONIGHT:smiley30x

temple is just plan old temple. im a temple alum and they do have a good coach and a FEW good players but they do suck and i expect a route tonight..... navy has a pretty good D and their offense is very tricky. esp against a garbage defense of temple.... navy rolls 47-10

Navy has a good D? They replace 9 starters. what good D do they have.... I think this one goes over 51.5-52 I think that is a safer play....Navy threw 42 up last year and return most of that group. Temple has most of it;s pop gun offence back and plays against a very inexperienced droup...I think over is the play tonight
