3 plays to start the season:
Kent State +4
Utah +7
UL Monroe +3
Public hammering the other side of these games with little or no line movement.

Hammering a bit of an understatement. Edelman is going to have a big year for Kent St. They went from dead last in the country 2 years ago in rushing to 39 last year. A lot of that due to #11. They've got that real small running back who had 800 yards in 2006. Offense will be stronger with 9 of 10 linemen back. I'm with you Marino. I don't see any reason to not take the Golden Flashes is this one.

I really like the Utah play...close to 75% on Oregon State and the line has moved from OSU -7 to to OSU -6.5 in some places...Beavers are the only team in the Pac 10 without a returning starter at QB..

I think the clones brought in a new D coordinator to help with this. We'll see how it goes.

Im on the opposite for the Kent St game. I think that ISU has the overall better talent. Plus, this is Genes debut game at home so he should have this team ready. Only positive things can happen on ISU's D with Gene at the helm. Kent St didnt look so hot as the season ended last year.
GL on the rest.

16 starters back and 80% the other way, I 'll stay with the Flashes. GL to you as well on the rest!

adding:
Utah State +7 - UNLV has sucked goat cock ATS. 2-12-1 ATS in their last 15 road games and 8-18-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall. Don't see tonight being all that different. 14 returning starters for Utah St (8 on defense). UNLV starting their redshirt freshman Dixon and can see them looking past this game with Wisconsin, Hawaii and Utah following the opener.
Looking at the last 10 meetings, I noticed a trend.
UNLV 24 UTAST 31
UTAST 31 UNLV 21
UTAST 42 UNLV 0
UNLV 23 UTAST 21
UTAST 33 UNLV 26
UNLV 8 UTAST 48
UTAST 27 UNLV 14
UNLV 6 UTAST 31
UTAST 27 UNLV 22
UNLV 10 UTAST 17
Granted, these games span 19 years or so, but 9-1 SU can't be ignored. A team like UNLV that was ranked 112th in turnover margin last year and has gone 4-19 in 3 seasons under Sanford shouldn't be a TD favorite on the road to anyone IMO
