TD: 10-6 +3.7 Units
What a joke again yesterday, Cole Hamels with a brilliant performance and only to see the Braves come back and rape me again ....take away the 3 horrible 9th/extra inning losses and I"m looking at 13-3 and + 15 units...but such is life and we move on to today
Red Sox -1.5 (-105) Dice K is the real deal and on both my fantasy teams. This guy has some nasty stuff and goes up against a less than stellar lineup. While Greinke tries to gain some form against the exposive Red Sox offense. I'm not EVER going to lay over -150 in a baseball game, so with the Red Sox on the road I have no problem laying the 1.5 as I don't see the Royals scoring more than a couple of runs.
White Sox (-105) Good value here for me after the Indians offense has torn the White Sox starters apart the last couple days. This is going to be another high scoring affair with the wind blowing straight out to LC at 25-30 mph. This game still might be cancelled due to the weather as it hasn't reached freezing yet this morning here in the frigid midwest. I like Buehrle to keep the Indians in the park and give the Sox a good chance with some good value.
Cubs/Reds over 10 Sure this line is high at 10, but this is one of the worst pitching matchups we've seen this year and they are playing in the silo in Cincy. Marquis last year for some unknown reason was given a fairly large contrace by Chicago to pitch for the cubbies although he led the NL in losses last year. He went 0-4 with a 7.25 ERA in his final 5 starts. On the other side Kyle Lohse in his only career start vs the cubs gave up 6 runs in 3 innings. Winds will be blowing hard out to L/LC which should mean some HR's from power bats like Griffey, Dunn, Lee, Ramirez, and Soriano.
That's all for now, pretty week card today, GL fellas
